Overview

Prescott A part of the NVA/Compassion First family of veterinary hospitals, Arizona Regional Intensive Care, Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Center (ARISE) is the premier companion animal care facility in the southeast region of Phoenix, Arizona.

The ground-up, two-story hospital was designed to allow related specialties to share resources and equipment and to provide doctors and staff with spaces designed specifically to meet their
environmental needs. The Orthopedic surgery suite has the space necessary to utilize a C-arm. ICU is equipped with both a quiet recovery zone and a loud house for stable animals. Oncology
meets the latest USP regulations for safety and sterile compounding. Cardiology has a dedicated IR Cath Lab.

Designed to provide Critical Care, Emergency Care, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Oncology, Cardiology, Hematology, Internal Medicine, diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound,
endoscopy), Orthopedics, Neurology, and General Surgery, the hospital has three lobbies, more than 30 exam rooms, and treatment areas dedicated to each department.

Compassionate care for animals and clients was considered throughout the hospital as well, with indoor/outdoor and comfort exam rooms, and visitation spaces for ICU patients.

The project utilized a design-build delivery method to help meet the client’s budget and tight construction schedule.
