When Dr. Reyda’s next door neighbor decided to sell her property, he jumped at the opportunity to expand his practice by building a brand-new hospital that would stand out, but also blend in with the character of this upstate New York community.
The result is a unique blend of red brick, small-town charm, and modern metal and glass. To give the hospital an indoor/outdoor connection, numerous skylights were installed in treatment and dog boarding, the second-story staff lounge includes an outdoor deck, and the dog daycare/rehab area opens up to the outdoors via a garage door.
The hospital also features separate cat and dog waiting areas, five exam rooms, a large consultation room, a two-table surgery suite, and a special procedures room.
